Six Reasons Why You Should Read Six of Crows

Misc

  1. It’s leagues better than the Grisha trilogy. Writing, characters..

2. You love ALL the characters and their group chemistry is so endearing even though they don’t want to like each other.

3. There are 3 ships that you will ship from the bottom of your soul.

I’m all for my antihero couples..

4. Everyone has a backstory that will make you smile/cry.

Uh..no..I’m just allergic to the full spectrum of human emotion..

5. Snappy One-Liners/comebacks that are borderline cheesy but are kinda badass at the same time.

6. That cliffhanger..

Have you read Six of Crows yet? And apparently Empire of Crows is not the name of the sequel, it’s Crooked Kingdom.. o.o

    1. It would be a good bonus if you have because I think it takes place a few years after the events of the last book in the Grisha trilogy and I think some events are referenced but overall it’s fine if you haven’t read the trilogy. I went into it having only read Shadow and Bone.

  1. I was so sad when the 2nd book title name was released, I thought it was Empire of Crows too, I actually really liked that one. (What a snob I am, lol!)
I should’ve prefaced all of this with, omgilovedthisbooksomuchicantevenrightnow!!!! I would’ve been on board for a full blown trilogy or quartet myself, a duology just doesn’t seem like enough time with these characters, I want to keep them forever and ever and read about them always….. *no I am not crying **okay maybe I am

    1. I know what you mean! I really liked that title too; it sounded really epic and rolls off the tongue really nicely..
I feel you on that. I need at least, at least 3 books but I guess hopefully, the series won’t sour haha
